Several locations in the capital have become the starting points for a large-scale march under the slogan “Freedom for Prisoners of Conscience.”
The traffic has been blocked near Marjanishvili Metro Station as demonstrators gather. Additional columns of protesters have set off from the main building of Tbilisi State University and the Public Broadcaster’s headquarters. The marchers are heading towards Rustaveli Avenue, where they will join the main protest in front of the Parliament.
