“I have made a decision to resign from the position of Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara,” Rizhvadze wrote. “I have been holding this position for the seventh year. It is time for something new, and I want to wish the future Chairman success”, he said.

In his statement, Rizhvadze expressed gratitude to key political figures and supporters, including the founder of the ruling party Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, and the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili.
