The chair of Georgia’s opposition United National Movement (UNM), Tina Bokuchava, has said she is confident that Levan Sanikidze will have a significant future in Georgian politics, citing what she described as his principled decisions.

Speaking to the media, Bokuchava said one of the decisions she is most proud of during her political career was appointing Sanikidze as deputy chair of the United National Movement.

“The one thing I can say about Levan Sanikidze is that over my 13 years in politics, one of the most important and proudest decisions I have made was appointing him as deputy chair of the United National Movement. I am confident that he has a very strong future in Georgian politics thanks to his principled decisions,” Bokuchava said.
