Trump claims US will ensure Russia does not attack NATO allies

Concerns among European NATO member states about a potential Russian attack are “unfounded,” and the United States will make sure Moscow does not take such action, US President Donald Trump has stated.

When asked by journalists about the concerns of some NATO allies regarding possible Russian aggression, Trump was dismissive.

“When everything is said and done, the Russian soldiers will just want to go home and rest,” he remarked.

The US president emphasized that his country would ensure that no attacks occur against NATO allies.

“It is not expected to happen, but we will make sure that it doesn’t,” Trump said.
