US presidential candidate Donald Trump has called on Israel to target Iran’s nuclear facilities in response to any missile attacks from Tehran. Speaking at a campaign rally in North Carolina on October 4, Trump criticized President Joe Biden’s stance, which opposes strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites.

“When asked about Iran and whether he would strike, Biden started with, ‘As long as they don’t hit nuclear facilities…’ I think he’s wrong. That’s exactly where they should hit,” Trump stated.

“The biggest threat is nuclear armament, the power of nuclear weapons. When asked that question, the answer should have been, ‘First, hit the nuclear facilities, and we’ll deal with everything else later,’” he added.
