Trump congratulates Pashinyan on election victory

US President Donald Trump has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his party’s victory in Armenia’s parliamentary elections.

In a post on social media, Trump described the result as a “decisive victory” and expressed confidence in Pashinyan’s leadership.

“Congratulations to Nikol Pashinyan on a decisive victory in Armenia’s national election,” Trump wrote.

The President added that he was “very proud” to have supported Pashinyan’s re-election and said he had no doubt that, under his leadership, Armenia would achieve a level of success and prosperity that would exceed expectations.

“[...] with him as the leader of the beautiful country of Armenia, it will attain levels of greatness and success beyond everyone’s wildest expectations!”, he wrote.
