Former US President Donald Trump announced that he has no plans to run in the 2028 presidential election if he is unsuccessful in this year’s race.

In an interview on Full Measure, Trump was asked whether he would consider a future presidential bid in four years if he loses in November. Trump responded that he would not seek the presidency again in 2028.

At the time of the next election cycle in 2028, Trump would be 82 years old. This declaration comes as Trump continues to campaign for the 2024 election, where he remains a central figure in the Republican Party’s bid to reclaim the White House.
