CEC Chairman Giorgi Kalandarishvili doused with black liquid during session

During the summary session of the Central Election Commission (CEC) on Saturday, opposition United National Movement member David Kirtaidze threw a cup of black liquid at the CEC Chairman Giorgi Kalandarishvili.

“You are a disgrace, the shame of our country, and a black stain,” Kirtaidze exclaimed at Kalandarishvili.

Following the incident, the session was temporarily adjourned.
