A Turkish cargo ship with 12 crew members sank in the Black Sea on Sunday.

 

“During the storm, a cargo ship with 12 crew members sank on the Black Sea coast of Turkey. The authorities were unable to establish contact with the crew,” Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said. According to reports, the region was hit by a strong storm and bad weather prevented search operations.

 

“When the weather improves, search and rescue operations will begin immediately,” Yerlikaya noted.
