Ukraine is set to receive new military assistance packages worth around $4 billion following the latest Ramstein-format meeting, Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said.
He said several partner countries had announced additional commitments, including long-range artillery systems and expanded ammunition supplies, as allies responded to what Kyiv described as an “opportunity window” created by recent battlefield developments.
“One of the largest support packages for PURL was announced today — worth $1 billion,” the Minister said, adding that further packages include long-range artillery with a range exceeding 30 kilometres.
The Netherlands alone announced support that includes around 700 cruise missiles, Fedorov said, noting final calculations are still ongoing and total pledged assistance could exceed $4 billion.
Separately, Germany confirmed continued military support for Ukraine, with Defence Minister Boris Pistorius saying air defence remains a priority.
“We have delivered another IRIS-T system to Ukraine. We have also accelerated the delivery of guided IRIS-T SLS and SLM missiles from our stocks,” Pistorius said.
He added that Berlin will allocate an additional $200 million under the Jumpstart programme for the procurement of PAC-3 missiles.
The Ramstein meeting brought together Ukraine’s allies to coordinate ongoing military assistance as the war continues.
