Ukrainian drone strikes spark massive fire at oil factory in Russia's Saratov

In the early hours of August 10, drones attacked o oil refinery in the Russian city of Saratov, triggering a massive fire. Reports also indicate air defense activity and explosions in several other Russian regions.
According to Russian Telegram channels, residents described the attack as a large-scale drone strike. Footage shared on social media captured the sounds of drones and the operation of air defense systems. Witnesses reported a powerful explosion followed by a large fire at the refinery.
Saratov Governor Roman Busargin confirmed “damage at one of the industrial facilities.”
Explosions and air defense activity were also reported in Lipetsk and Voronezh regions.
The Russian Ministry of Defense later claimed that its air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 121 Ukrainian drones over 15 regions.
According to the ministry, the highest number—29 drones—was reportedly shot down over Krasnodar Krai, followed by 15 over occupied Crimea, 13 over Bryansk, 12 over Belgorod, 9 over Voronezh, 8 each over Saratov and Stavropol Krai, 7 over Kaluga, 6 over Tula, 5 over Rostov, 4 over Ryazan, 2 over the Sea of Azov, and one each over Smolensk, Oryol, and Tver regions.
