Ukraine thanks Georgia for support in organising exams for students affected by war

Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science has expressed its gratitude to Georgia for its ongoing support in facilitating exams for Ukrainian students displaced by the conflict.
In a letter addressed to his Georgian counterpart Givi Mikanadze, the Ukrainian Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi highlighted the “invaluable support and assistance” provided by the Georgian side, particularly under the difficult circumstances currently facing Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian side greatly appreciates the efforts and solidarity of the Georgian Ministry of Education in ensuring that our students can sit their exams,” the letter said. “This is the fourth year we have received your support, and such an initiative would have been impossible abroad without your cooperation.”
The letter also thanked school leaders for establishing temporary exam centres, as well as teachers, coordinators, and IT specialists who helped facilitate the process. The Ukrainian official further expressed hope for continued cooperation in the future.
