Ukraine’s General Staff reports 1,180,870 Russian troop losses since start of war

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday released updated figures on Russia’s combat losses, reporting that since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia had lost about 1,180,870 troops, including 1,080 within the past 24 hours - killed or wounded.
The body added Russia’s estimated total combat losses in Ukraine from February 25, 2022 to December 7, 2025 include:
Tanks: 11,401 (+3)
Armored combat vehicles: 23,688 (+0)
Artillery systems: 34,907 (+33)
Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,562 (+2)
Air defence systems: 1,253 (+0)
Aircraft: 431 (+0)
Helicopters: 347 (+0)
Tactical-level UAVs: 87,927 (+540)
Cruise missiles: 4,054 (+30)
Fast boats/ships: 28 (+0)
Submarines: 1 (+0)
Vehicles and fuel tankers: 69,135 (+98)
Special equipment: 4,015 (+0)
