A large-scale missile attack launched by Iran against Israel has claimed the lives of five Ukrainian citizens, including three minors, according to a statement from the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Preliminary information from the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel indicates that on June 14, during Iran’s massive missile strike on Israel, a residential building in Bat Yam was hit, resulting in the deaths of five Ukrainians. Among the victims were three underage children.

Ukrainian diplomats and consular staff are currently working closely with Israeli police and other relevant authorities to identify the victims and arrange for the repatriation of their bodies.

Meanwhile, Israeli media outlet Ynet reported that the explosion of an Iranian missile in Bat Yam killed a 10-year-old boy, an 8-year-old girl, three women aged approximately 50, 60, and 80, as well as a young man around 18 years old.

This escalation follows Israeli strikes on June 13, targeting key Iranian infrastructure, including sites linked to the country’s nuclear program and military facilities. According to Israeli officials, the aim was to disable Iran’s ballistic missile production and critical military assets.

In retaliation, Iran launched multiple missiles toward Israel later that evening. The exchange of fire between the two nations has continued for the third consecutive day.

Israel has since reported that it struck over 170 targets connected to Iran’s military and nuclear infrastructure. In total, approximately 250 airstrikes have been carried out on 720 targets as part of the ongoing operation.

Over the past 24 hours alone, Iranian missile and drone attacks have killed 12 people and left 385 others injured, with many hospitalized.
