Ukrainian Armed Forces report over 605,000 Russian combat losses since invasion

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russian combat losses in Ukraine. As of August 23, Russia has reportedly lost approximately 605,330 servicemembers, an increase of 1,190 in the past day.

According to the report, the total estimated combat losses of Russian forces from February 25, 2022, to August 23, 2024, include the following:

Tanks: 8,533 (+4)
Armored vehicles: 16,599 (+32)
Artillery systems: 17,307 (+45)
Multiple rocket systems: 1,167 (+1)
Air defense systems: 932 (+1)
Aircraft: 367 (+0)
Helicopters: 328 (+0)
Operational-tactical level drones: 14,025 (+27)
Cruise missiles: 2,442 (+0)
Light speedboats/ships: 28 (+0)
Submarines: 1 (+0)
Automotive equipment and fuel tanks: 23,329 (+49)
Special equipment: 2,910 (+6)
