UNICEF announces one-time financial aid for Ukrainian children stranded in Georgia

The government of Georgia will provide one-time financial aid to vulnerable Ukrainian families with children with the support of UNICEF, the latter said on Thursday. 

UNICEF said the families that arrived in Georgia after 1 February 2022 would receive 470 Georgian GEL per child. 

To receive financial aid the parent thelegal representative of the Ukrainian children should apply to the Social Service Agency’s territorial and regional offices by the March 1st 2023 and provide with their and the child’s passport or a birth certificate. 

It said in case of questions, interested parties could call the hotline 1505.
