UNM announces structural changes

The United National Movement (UNM) opposition party has announced structural changes following today’s meeting in the party headquarters. 

 

Businessman, the UNM MP Koba Nakopia has been appointed the head of the political council of the party, while Nika Melia, current head of the party, will also chair the UNM’s Tbilisi organization. 

 

Previously Zaal Udumashvili chaired the party’s Tbilisi organization. 

 

Petre Tsiskarishvili will serve as the secretary general of the party. 

 

Melia said that changes will take place in the party leadership in the regions as well.
