The US chipmaker Intel Corp has suspended business operations in Russia in protest of Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“Intel continues to join the global community in condemning Russia’s war against Ukraine and calling for a swift return to peace,” the company said.

It suspended shipments to customers in Russia and Belarus last month.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.

Since then a number of international companies have left Russia in protest.
