The Pentagon and the US State Department say that Russia has plans to simulate an attack by the Ukrainian army to have an excuse for invasion.

The Russian embassy in the United States has responded that ‘it is a new creative scenario,’ noting that such statements are ‘typical for the US.’

The US is involved in talks with Russia to prevent a war with Ukraine as about 100,000 Russian troops are massed at the border.

Russia claims that it plans no attack which is not credible by the international community.

The country demands NATO not to add Georgia and Ukraine as new members in the future.

It has also raised other security issues with the US and NATO.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has recently stated that his country’s major complaints have not been responded to so far by the two.
