“We are not going to nominate mayoral candidates at this stage, because we do not have suitable staff, the main task now is to compile proportional lists” – Vakhtang Megrelishvili, a member of “Girchi” said.

 As Vakhtang Megrelishvili noted, the main task at this stage is to be part of the proportional elections in order. 

“For that, you need to have lists in literally 61 municipalities, which is 1,500 people. I think this is a serious obstacle for too many parties, but we are busy to have a representative everywhere, someone who will actually have a chance to be elected, and for us this is an election, to open cabinets in all assemblies, as we have in the Parliament, as we have in the CESKO. The next priority may already be the majoritarian candidates. We have started selecting the candidates, it is done publicly through a zoom, which is broadcast live on our Facebook page, we have selected a candidate in Tsalka and Tbilisi”- Said Megrelishvili.
