Volodymyr Zelensky – We have common goals – full membership in the EU, equality, freedom and democracy

According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the goal of all three countries: Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova is full membership in the European Union.

 “We have common goals for the future – full EU membership, equality, freedom and democracy. These are our values. Unfortunately, we pay a special price for these achievements: occupation, annexation and other issues have hindered us for years.

During my visit, along the occupation line in Abkhazia I have been there to see security issues, human rights abuses, I have heard with my own ears, I always go to the occupation line in Ukraine and we have a similar tragic situation in the occupied territories. – There are countries that have made this choice. We are together today, united, we have made this choice, this reality has been established. 

This association trio is a new regional dimension and we are all united in it, the European design is created and we lack three important fragments. “I am pleased that the President of the European Council, Mr. Charles Michel, shares this view and says that this association trio is important, it is a clear message that we must join the European Union tomorrow” – Zelensky said.
