Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani has met with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference, where he once again expressed support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity amig growing fears that Russia may invade Ukraine.

Both FMs stressed that the international community’s support and consolidation is essential to de-escalate the situation and avoid intervention.

They recalled the ‘harsh lessons’ Ukraine and Georgia have learned from armed confrontation and occupation of territories by Russia.

Kuleba thanked the Georgian government and people for their solidarity with Ukraine.
