Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Ukraine’s positions on the frontline have strengthened in recent months, citing the increased use of drones, technological innovations and active defence operations.

Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces have managed to stabilise parts of the front despite continued heavy fighting. He said the progress was made possible through the “courage of Ukrainian soldiers,” the use of unmanned aerial systems, long-range strikes targeting Russian logistics and broader technological solutions on the battlefield.

As the President noted, the situation remains difficult, although Ukrainian forces are actively defending themselves and have already achieved more significant results this year than before. He also stated that even the Russian side acknowledges the changes taking place on the frontline.

Zelenskyy stressed that fighting remains intense in several areas, while Kyiv continues efforts to strengthen its military and technological capabilities as the war enters another critical phase.
