Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russian forces may carry out another large-scale attack on Ukraine overnight, urging citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and to seek shelter.
“It is very important today, tomorrow and at all times to pay attention to air raid sirens and to look for shelter. The Russians remain unchanged - they try to take advantage of weather conditions. I have instructed the Government to assist local authorities and provide maximum support to everyone,” Zelenskyy said.
He added that throughout the day he received reports from the Government and all relevant services, which are working around the clock to deal with the aftermath of Russian strikes.
Earlier the day Russian forces launched Iskander ballistic missiles at the city of Kryvyi Rih, damaging high-rise residential buildings. At least 10 people were injured in the attack, with one man reported to be in critical condition.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Russia shelled critical infrastructure facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, leaving both regions without electricity.
