Ukraine will participate in the upcoming NATO summit in Turkey, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed.
Speaking at a joint briefing with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Zelenskyy said discussions are currently underway regarding the format of Ukraine’s participation and the composition of the Ukrainian delegation.
The President said Ukraine will definitely be represented at the alliance’s next summit, although he did not specify the level of representation or the precise format of participation.
“It is still too early to say how, in what format, and who,” Zelenskyy told reporters.
The 2026 NATO summit is scheduled to take place on 7–8 July in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.
The meeting is expected to focus on key security issues facing the alliance, including continued support for Ukraine amid the ongoing war with Russia.
