Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that Russia will lose everything as the plans of its President, Vladimir Putin, are being any strategies and are only based on his wish to restore the Soviet Union.

In his recent answer to reporters on what strategy may Putin have, Zelensky responded that there are no clear strategies.

“Putin has a multi-vector approach to the issue of Russia, to the country’s place in the world, to the leadership of Russia, and to all those who have left Russia and who have the right not to be Russia.

“The whole history is here: the Caucasus is the Caucasus, Georgians are Georgians, Moldovans are Moldovans, and Ukraine is Ukraine. These are different stories. Ukraine is dangerous for Russia in many ways. First of all, it concerns the loss of influence of the Russian language. It has lost several million Russian-speaking population. He wants to bring it all back by force. The second issue is the success of Ukraine – from a geopolitical point of view and from a population point of view, Putin knows exactly what kind of people are living here,” Zelensky said.

Zelensky stated that considering Putin’s age, his plans are ‘non-strategic’ and ‘he will lose everything’ instead of the restoration of the Soviet Union.

Russia recognized two Georgian regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali as independent states after the Russia-Georgia 2008 war.
