Construction worker dies from a fall in Zugdidi

A construction worker fell from the 8th floor of a nine-floor apartment building located on Dadiani Street, in the city of Zugdidi, located in western Georgia.

The worker, who was engaged in facade finishing work on the building, slipped and fell.

Emergency medical services arrived on the scene and transported the injured man to a hospital, but he was pronounced dead before reaching the medical facility.

Authorities and forensic experts are currently at the site investigating the incident. Reports indicate that the deceased was a foreign national.
