Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili says that her support for Ukraine has been expressed by a clear wording and not by showing the flag of Ukraine, reportedly criticizing the actions of the Georgian Dream government.
“The current presence of the president in Paris and Brussels serves the goal (to express support for Ukraine)” said the president on her Facebook account, sharing the post of the country’s Foreign Ministry.
The post by the Foreign Ministry included the deeds of the government in support of Ukraine which included one million GEL humanitarian aid, ensuring support for visiting Ukrainians in Georgia; 24/7 hotline for Ukrainian tourists; lighting up of Tbilisi mast and Batumi stadium in the colors of the Ukrainian flag; showing the Ukrainian and Georgian flags at the Presidential Palace, sending free humanitarian parcels to Ukraine.
