Prices for gas and heating. Shmygal told what will happen to tariffs after the New Year

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal says that heating and hot water tariffs for the population will remain stable until the end of the season. The same applies to gas prices.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of Shmygal during a government meeting, which was broadcast on Youtube.

As Shmygal noted, Ukraine has managed to ensure the stability of tariffs in the context of the global energy crisis.

"Heat and hot water tariffs will not increase until the end of the heating season. The same applies to tariffs, or prices, for gas," he said.

Recall, from January 1, 2022 in Ukraine will increase tariffs for cold water and gas delivery.

In particular, the National Commission, which regulates the energy and utilities (NCREU) has approved changes to tariffs for 45 water utilities.

In addition, NCREU approved new tariffs for the distribution of gas for the population. The increased tariffs will take effect on 1 January 2022.
