The "red" quarantine zone may expand in Ukraine. Another 9 regions are under the threat of a lockdown already this week.

This was stated by the analyst of the Center for Health Economics KSE Institute Kateryna Kuzminova, reports RBC-Ukraine, referring to her briefing.

According to her, the Kyiv School of Economics expects a parade of regions to enter the "red" zone.

"9 regions of Ukraine already have signs of the "red" zone and can be transferred to it. To join Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne regions, which are in the "red" zone, these regions can already this week", - she said.

Which regions are at risk of entering the "red" zone:

- Vinnitsa,

- Donetsk,

- Volyn,

- Zhytomyr,

- Zakarpattya,

- Lviv,

- Odesa,

- Sumy,

- Khmelnitsky.

Recall that in the "red" zone of the adaptive quarantine is prohibited:

• the work of catering, except for targeted delivery and takeaway orders,
• the work of shopping malls and other entertainment venues, cinemas and theaters,
• work of educational institutions except kindergartens and elementary school,
• operation of non-food markets and stores,
• gyms, swimming pools and fitness centers,
• holding mass events, except official sports events and matches of team game sports without spectators,
• operation of cultural institutions, except for historical and cultural preserves, film and video filming.

Restrictions "red" level will not apply if all participants (visitors), workers and organizers of public events, including religious, theaters, theaters, museums or other cultural institutions, entertainment venues, shopping malls, catering establishments, markets, gyms and swimming pools have a "green" COVID certificate.
