A meeting chaired by the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and attended by representatives of security agencies will be held in the premises of the National Security and Defense Council, specially equipped for such events, said Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.

"The meeting is being held in the premises of the National Security and Defense Council...It will be held in an appropriate room that meets the requirements for state secrets," Stefanchuk said at a briefing on Monday.

According to the speaker, he and his two deputies will participate in the meeting. "Also - one representative from each faction ... As far as I know, also invited three chairmen of the committees that are directly related to the issues of defense and international policy," he said.

Stefanchuk also said that Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, representatives of the power and economic blocks of the government, representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian intelligence service will take part in this meeting.

"We will discuss issues that are related to the current security situation. The main task is for us to coordinate our efforts and for all state authorities to understand what state decisions they need to make to ensure the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of our state," Stefanchuk said.
