Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel spoke with Russian President Putin on Saturday, where he raised questions about Mariupol. The foreign politician said this on his Twitter.

"Just had another conversation with Vladimir Putin. Since our last exchange, the situation on the ground has worsened, especially in the city of Mariupol. The images reaching us are unbearable. The goal should remain de-escalation, acceptance of a cease-fire and the advancement of negotiation processes," the message read.
