Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed draft law No7190 envisioning tax and customs changes under martial law. This is reported on the website of parliament.

 

The law provides for exemption of imports from duties and VAT, suspension of registration as a VAT payer for new "simplifies" instead of cancellation, cancellation of tax on residential property in the areas of military operations and territories occupied by the russian armed formations.

 

He will make Ukraine the fastest customs in the world, said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. "VAT and import duty on imports of goods that are imported by single tax payers from circulation are removed. The declarative principle of work also now works at customs," the head of the government explained earlier.

 

"From now on the import of goods necessary for the defense of Ukraine and the humanitarian needs of people will be simplified as much as possible. The import of vehicles by citizens will be completely exempt from taxation. The import of goods, including vehicles by the subjects of the simplified system will be exempted from VAT," explained the chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danil Getmantsev.

 

The VR Committee recommended the Parliament to pass the bill № 7190, the Parliament adopted it on March 24.
