Russia plans to carry out forced mobilization in the seized territories of Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
They noted that the purpose of the pseudo-referendums in the seized territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions is the announcement of forced "mobilization. After it, the Russian Federal Security Service plans to throw "mobilized" Ukrainians to the hottest parts of the front to assault AFU positions under the control of barrier units.
"In fact, this is an attempt to destroy Ukraine by the hands of the Ukrainians themselves," the GUR added.
Earlier, it was reported that for "referendums" the personal data of residents of the temporarily occupied territories are collected in advance, allegedly to receive "humanitarian aid" or social payments. On Election Day, FSB officers will fill out ballots using the information received, without the consent and physical presence of the Ukrainians themselves.
Such a special operation has two goals:
- Destroying members of the Ukrainian ethnic group;
- To carry out propaganda measures, imposing on the population of Russia and the world the myth that "the population of the regions liberated from the Nazis began to fight the nationalist battalions.
