Rada increased military expenditures of the state budget by 200 billion hryvnia

The Verkhovna Rada has increased the state budget reserve fund for 2022 by 200 billion hryvnias at the expense of borrowings. The law as a whole was supported by 296 MPs. This was reported by people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

 

According to the draft № 7299 increased state budget expenditures "shall be directed exclusively to security and defense measures, financial support for internally displaced persons".

 

Thus, it is supposed to limit the use of additional funds from the state budget reserve fund in the amount of 200 billion hryvnias in two priority areas.

 

The document provides for government borrowing of 200bn hryvnyas with a corresponding increase in the limits of public debt and the state budget deficit.
