Blinken called Russia's missile attack on the station in Chaplin an atrocity

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called the attack by Russian troops on the railway station in Chaplino in the Dnipropetrovsk region an atrocity. The State Secretary wrote about this on Twitter.

"Russia's missile attack on a railway station filled with civilians in Ukraine fits the pattern of atrocities. We will continue to support Ukraine with partners around the world and hold Russian officials accountable," Blinken wrote.

The Prime Minister of Estonia and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium reacted to the Russian missile attack on the Chaplino station on August 24, which hit a passenger train and nearby cars.

"We grieve with you. Russia continues to multiply war crimes and tries to sow fear and terror. We are proud of your determination and courage and will support you to victory," Kaya Kallas responded.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium Aja Lyabib expressed condolences to the families of the victims. "Aggression and bloodshed must stop... Belgium stands in solidarity with Ukrainians and will continue to take the same position," she wrote on her Twitter.

The British ambassador mentioned the tragedy in Chaplyny, describing the exhibition at the Kyiv railway station about the role of "Ukrzaliznytsia" during the war.

It will be recalled that President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced that during a rocket attack on the Chaplyne railway station in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, 22 people were killed and about 50 others were injured.
