French President Emmanuel Macron is sure that the war in Ukraine should end at the negotiating table. At the same time, he believes that Russia will need security guarantees. He said this in an interview with TF1.
According to Macron, the topic of NATO, in particular the impossibility of expanding the alliance, will become one of the topics of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. The politician believes that the future security architecture of Europe should also contain guarantees for Russia.
At the same time, Macron emphasized that Ukraine should decide for itself when to start negotiations with Russia and under what conditions.
"It is up to the Ukrainian people to decide for themselves and under what conditions, how, when it does not depend on us," said the French president.
At the same time, he added that Europe is not involved in the war and does not accept it, but the future security of the EU depends on it.
