The death toll from a terrorist attack on a mosque in the city of Peshawar in Pakistan has risen to 90.

 "The number of people killed in the explosion in Peshawar has increased to 90, the rescue operation continues and the wreckage of the mosque is being disassembled," the radio station informed.

 

 The explosion in the mosque happened on Monday, January 30, during prayer. According to eyewitnesses, there were more than 100 people in the mosque. In connection with the incident, part of the mosque and the roof of the building collapsed.

 

 Emergency services arrived at the scene and began searching for the dead and injured, as well as sorting out the rubble. The victims were taken to the hospital, some are in critical condition.

 

 It became known that the suicide bomber was in the first row during the namaz prayer.
