A young tourist from Georgia was found murdered in a hotel in Rio de Janeiro. The Georgian service of Radio Liberty writes about it.

 The body of a 31-year-old man was found in a hotel room on May 30.

 According to the information of the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the country's embassy in Brazil received an official notification about the death of a Georgian citizen.

 "The embassy maintains contact both with the family members of the deceased and with local law enforcement agencies," the agency said.

 According to Brazilian media, the body of the deceased was discovered by a hotel employee. Suspect of murder, previously convicted local resident has already been detained.
