On August 10, during the night, Russian armed forces attacked the Rivne region using kamikaze drones. According to a Telegram message from the head of the Rivne regional administration, Vitaliy Koval, the shelling resulted in the destruction of an oil depot.
"At night, Rivne region suffered a massive a massive drone attack. Unfortunately, the oil depot in Dubno district was destroyed. There are no victims. 45 rescuers and 14 vehicles are working at the scene. A fire train is involved," Koval said.
The head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration also noted that investigative commissions headed by the heads of the region's law enforcement agencies are actively working at the scene of the attack.
It is important to note that, according to Koval, the chemical and radiation background at the site of the attack is normal, and no evacuation of the population is planned.
