Echoes of the war in Ukraine: a naval drone was presented in Taiwan

Taiwan's Thunder Tiger, a company specializing in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, has announced the creation of a new marine drone Sea Shark 400. The design of the device is similar to some marine drones from Ukraine, such as the Magura V5, according to the military portal NavyRecognition.

According to the manufacturer, the Sea Shark is 4 meters long, can reach speeds of up to 65 km/h and cover a distance of up to 300 kilometers. The boat is equipped with a camera that can transmit images in real time, as well as a remote control system that allows the operator to issue commands during missions.

Other technical details of the Sea Shark 400 are currently unknown. It is planned that the unmanned vehicle will be presented in September during a military exhibition, and then it may become known about its carrying capacity and purpose.

At the moment, Thunder Tiger, the developer of Sea Shark 400, is actively cooperating with the IVC Metal Center laboratory to implement artificial intelligence technology in its unmanned vehicles. September may bring some interesting details about this symbiosis and the control of the new maritime drone.

Meanwhile, China continues to isolate Taiwan with military maneuvers. The Chinese People's Liberation Army has sent 25 aircraft into the Taiwan Air Defense Recognition Zone and has 5 ships in a state of combat readiness at sea.
