During today's shelling of western Ukraine, a residential building in Ivano-Frankivsk region was hit. A child died as a result of this incident. Law enforcement agencies have launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and moral norms of war.
Thus, the missile hit the territory of a private house located in Kolomyia district, where a family with three children lived. An 8-year-old boy died as a result of the shelling. Details about other victims are currently being clarified. The blast wave and debris caused partial destruction of an outbuilding.
According to Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, the child died in hospital.
