Other countries' assistance to Russia will be interpreted as aggression - Pentagon

The Pentagon has emphasized that any form of support provided to Russia by North Korea or other countries is considered a continuation of Moscow's aggression against Ukraine, US Department of Defense spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said at a press conference.

Commenting on Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu's statement that military cooperation between Russia and North Korea does not pose a threat to other countries, Singh emphasized that the US perception is that any action aimed at helping Russia is in fact a continuation of the conflict in Ukraine.

"We have made our position clear. We have expressed our concerns to countries that are considering providing support to Russia, and of course we will take steps to prevent such support," Singh said.

She also emphasized that the United States intends to continue to provide long-term military support to Ukraine.
