Ukraine is actively preparing for the upcoming heating season, which will be difficult, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. He noted that the issue of the heating season was raised during a discussion with the Prime Minister of Finland.
"We discussed the heating season, assistance to our energy system and the restoration of Ukraine with the Prime Minister of Finland. We will strengthen cooperation in this area, because the winter will be difficult as well. We are preparing as much as possible," the Prime Minister emphasized.
Denys Shmyhal also said that more than 13 billion cubic meters of gas have already been pumped in. In addition, an active process of repairing and restoring energy facilities is underway to ensure the reliable functioning of the country's energy system.
