The vessel "RESILIENT AFRICA" left the port of Chornomorsk through a temporary corridor

The vessel RESILIENT AFRICA, carrying 3,000 tons of wheat, has left the port of Chornomorsk and is heading toward the Bosphorus, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said.


"This is the first of two vessels that entered the port of Chornomorsk last week using the temporary corridor for civilian vessels established by the Ukrainian Navy," he wrote on Facebook, adding that the second vessel is in the port loading Ukrainian wheat for Egypt.


According to marinetraffic, the RESILIENT AFRICA is a General Cargo vessel built in 2001 and sailing the flag of Palau, with Jeju Jeju as its home port. Its carrying capacity is 3,276 thousand deadweight tons, current draft is 5.7 m, total length (LOA) is 76.01 m, and width is 13.6 m.
