The Russian military shelled the city of Kherson throughout the night and morning of Monday, October 2. Two girls and their mother were injured in one of the attacks. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.


"On October 1, at about 23:40, the Russian military once again shelled residential areas of the city of Kherson," the regional prosecutor's office said in a statement.


The artillery shelling caused a fire in a private house.


"A 13-year-old girl sustained moderate injuries, and her sister, aged 12, was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction due to the shelling. Their mother also received shrapnel wounds," the agency said.


The victims were inside their house during the shelling.
