Elon Musk denies rumors of Twitter blocking in the EU

Twitter owner Elon Musk has denied information spread by The Business Insider about the possible blocking of the social network in the European Union due to the new DSA digital law. He announced this on his Twitter page.

This is an "absolute lie," Musk wrote.

The billionaire was responding to a report by The Business Insider that Musk was allegedly considering blocking the service for users in the EU due to EU requirements. The impetus for this was allegedly the tech billionaire's dissatisfaction with the DSA.

The DSA (Digital Services Act), in particular, obliges the largest Internet platforms to act to prevent hate speech and provide more detailed information on the fulfillment of their obligations.
