President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres about preparations for a new round of meetings to discuss the Ukrainian "peace formula." This is stated in Zelensky's official statement.


"The active participation of the UN in the implementation of the peace formula and the readiness to send a representative of the Organization to the next meeting of diplomatic and security advisers is very important for Ukraine," the president wrote.


Zelensky also noted that after a successful meeting of security advisers in Jeddah, it is important that the upcoming event bring concrete results.


He expressed hope for support from the countries of the Global South and emphasized how important the role of the UN is in this process.


The President also shared information with the UN Secretary-General on the functioning of the alternative "grain corridor" through the Black Sea and the continuation of the "Grain from Ukraine" initiative.


They also discussed the situation in the Middle East and the need for humanitarian efforts to support civilians.


President Zelensky expressed gratitude to the UN team in Ukraine for their efforts in the field of humanitarian assistance, in particular for the preparation of the $435 million winter plan.
