Ukrainian soldiers are achieving "good results" on the left bank of the Kherson region, but this is not yet subject to coverage. This was stated by Natalia Humeniuk, a spokeswoman for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, on Radio Liberty.

According to her, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in particular, forced the Russian army to withdraw its positions on the left bank.

"We continue to achieve good results in our struggle - both in counter-battery and other methods of work. But this is not yet subject to coverage, precisely so that the result is very powerful and fixed, so that it is not such a short-term victory. Our counter-battery fight also forced them to pull back their positions quite strongly on the left bank, but not enough to stop shelling the right bank," said Humeniuk.

She noted that although the number of artillery attacks on the right bank has decreased, the Russians have begun to attack the right bank with more often with aircraft.

"The use of tactical aviation, which has recently increased significantly in the overall numbers of reports over the right bank, is an excuse for the fact that artillery can no longer reach everywhere. And the enemy is trying to create artificial victories for itself in this way, destroying peaceful civilian infrastructure, destroying the region's economy and trying to destroy the settlements on the right bank in a carpet manner," explained the spokeswoman.
