The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Strategic Industries, will increase the production of missiles, ammunition, weapons and military equipment several times next year. The press service of the Ministry of Defense reports this with reference to the words of Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk.
According to the report, the main attention will be paid to the production of air defense systems - from conventional man-portable air defense systems to air defense systems with a range of more than 100 kilometers (such as the Coral air defense system, which is under development, and a model of which was shown in 2021).
According to Havryliuk, the approved budget for 2024 also provides about 175 billion hryvnias for the purchase of missiles and ammunition.
